The Tour de Luchey estate spans 16.31 hectares, predominantly planted with 40-year-old Merlot vines on the silty banks of the Dordogne River, opposite St-Emilion. These mature vines yield grapes with exceptional richness and depth. The estate is also home to a medieval tower once used by the “luchey,” an usher of the King, who checked the payload of ships departing Bordeaux for the royal court. The property, rich in history and tradition, has been owned by the same family for five generations, producing wines that reflect the legacy and unique terroir of this storied region.
