Sube
My first encounter with this Slovak red wine reveals a rich, smooth hue, accompanied by enticing scents of ripe red fruits, damp earth, and a note of sweetness, with a medium-bodied mouthfeel and a lively tannic structure, elevated by flavors of concord grape juice, fresh plum, and mild mineral undertones, finished with a satisfying softness and a fruity, jammy aftertaste, akin to of a classic Burgundy pairing, which proved to be a delightful match for grilled sea salt pork.
