WINE DESCRIPTION
Château Pontac Lynch is a Bordeaux blend hailing from the commune of Margaux, located on the left bank of the Gironde estuary. The wine is a classic blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot. Château Pontac Lynch perfectly showcases the personality of the commune of Margaux with its inherent delicacy and perfumed aromatics. The wine is typically aged in a combination of new and used oak barrels for around 12 months prior to bottling to contribute notes of sweet spice and vanilla.
NOTES FROM VINOVOSS SOMMELIER
Château Pontac Lynch Margaux shows a deep ruby color in the glass. On the nose, it offers enticing aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, and plum, accompanied by hints of cedar, tobacco, and earthy undertones. There is a lift floral character reminiscent of violets and lavender typical of its origin. This wine displays a beautiful depth of flavor, with layers of dark fruits, such as black plum and blackberry, complemented by notes of violets, leather, and a touch of spice. It has a long and gently savory finish.
