WINE DESCRIPTION
Château Malartic-Lagravière La Réserve de Malartic (Le Sillage) Blanc is a medium bodied, oaked, aromatic, white wine with tangy acidity intended for drinking ovr the medium term. The wine is made from a blend of Sauvignon Blanc (80%) and Semillon (20%) grown in estate owned vineyards in the prestigous appellation of Pessac Leognan in the suburbs of Bordeaux. The wine see maturation for 11 months in 50% new French oak adding a vanillin undertone to the citrus fruit and grassy notes to create a complex wine. This is a great choice for drinkers looking for Sauvignon Blanc wines with a difference. Please note that there are two labels of this wine: Château Malartic-Lagravière La Réserve de Malartic Le Sillage Blanc, and Château Malartic-Lagravière La Réserve de Malartic. They are the same wine that has been bottled under two different lablels for different clients.
