This Château Larmande Saint-Émilion Grand Cru is a superb example of Bordeaux terroir. On the nose, it reveals aromas of ripe blackberry and blueberry, as well as hints of cedar and tobacco. On the palate, it is silky, round, and well balanced, with an excellent structure, and flavors of ripe dark fruits, cocoa, and spice. The long finish is full of complexity, and the tannins are well integrated. This is an outstanding Grand Cru Classé, and an excellent choice for any special occasion.
