WINE DESCRIPTION
Château Lafleur Les Perriéres is a highly sought-after wine produced by the owners of Château Lafleur in the Pomerol. The wine is made from grapes grown outside of the Pomerol area and on the limestone Meyney plateau of the Bordeaux appellation. The wine is made from a mix or predominantly Cabernet Franc with some Merlot in support. The winemaking process is carefully crafted to preserve the purity of the fruit, with a focus on gentle extraction of tannins, and aging in French oak barrels. The resulting wine is a beautifully balanced expression with a rich and complex flavor profile. Château Lafleur Les Perriéres is an opulent style of Bordeaux and a window into the richer styles of the Left Bank.
NOTES FROM VINOVOSS SOMMELIER
This Château Lafleur Les Perriéres has a bold ruby hue and a nose of ripe plum and blackberry fruit. The palate is rich and seductive in its opulence with plush tannins and balanced acidity. Complex pipe tobacco nuance plays out on the long finish. Drink with fillet mignon and enjoy now or over the next 8 years.
