Château Haut-Bages Libéral, a Fifth Growth classified in the 1855 Bordeaux Classification, benefits from a prime location on the Garonne River's banks in Pauillac's Bages plateau. Originally managed by the Liberal family, it shares prestigious terroir with neighbors like Château Latour. Acquired by the Lurton family in 1982, led by Claire Villars-Lurton since 1992, the estate transitioned to biodynamic farming from 2007. Certified organic since 2019, it's currently converting to biodynamics. The 30-hectare vineyard, predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, produces expressive, powerful, and refined wines, reflecting environmental passion, respect, and fruity purity.
