WINE DESCRIPTION
Château Enclos Haut Mazeyres Pomerol is made from old-vine Merlot grown in the Pomerol appellation on the right bank of Bordeaux, France. The estate extends over more than 9 hectares of contiguous vineyard land. The harvest is manual, with grapes picked plot by plot based on ripeness. Vinification is carried out in cement vats, before being aged for between 18 to 24 months in French oak barrels .
NOTES FROM VINOVOSS SOMMELIER
Château Enclos Haut Mazeyres Pomerol offers a bouquet of succulent dark fruits, such as blackberries and plums, accompanied by subtle violet notes and hints of spice. The palate is rich and velvety, with well-integrated tannins and a harmonious balance between fruit and oak spice. The wine is lifted by a firm core of acidity that provides a counterpoint to the layers of truffle and dark, bitter chocolate shavings that linger on the long finish.
