Château de Marsannay owns more than 40 hectares of organically farmed vineyards throughout the Cote d'Or in Burgundy. This Gevrey-Chambertin is sourced for estate vineyards totaling just over 2 hectares. Château de Marsannay favors a traditional approach to Burgundy with complete destemming and gentle use of oak. The end result is a wine that is highly typical of both Pinot Noir and Gevrey Chambertin with aromatic red fruit and an iron-like minerality.
