WINE DESCRIPTION
Château Carbonneau Sequoia is a Bordeaux blend dominated blend from the Sainte-Foy-Bordeaux appellation. Château Carbonneau is an organically-certified estate situated on the eastern limits of Gironde estuary. The wine is composed mostly of Merlot with a proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc to add structure and aromatic complexity to the blend. The grapes were crushed, fermented and matured for around 12 months in neutral barrels.

Château Carbonneau Sequoia exhibits a deep ruby color with a hint of purple.On the nose, it offers an array of ripe black fruits, such as blackberry and blackcurrant, accompanied by subtle notes of bell pepper and tobacco. The palate is rich and medium to full-bodied, with firm tannins and flavors of blackberry, plum, and a touch of tobacco. The lively acidity brings balance and freshness, driving the moderately long, savory finish.
