WINE DESCRIPTION
Chateau Barreyre Bordeaux Supérieur is a 22-acre property with a view of the Gironde, near to the commune of Margaux. On account of its proximity to the river, Chateau Barreyre is only entitled to the appellation Bordeaux Superieur. The wine is a Merlot dominated blend with a proportion of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. Fermentation occurs in thermo-regulated stainless & concrete vats with maturation lasting around 12 months in French oak barrel.

Chateau Barreyre Bordeaux Supérieur exhibits a deep ruby color, with aromas of black fruits, such as blackberry and blackcurrant and plums, along with hints of spice and oak.On the palate, it offers a harmonious balance of fruitiness and firm tannins, with a medium to full body. The finish is moderate and elegant, leaving a lingering taste of dark fruits and subtle earthy notes complemented by sweet oak spice.
