The Charles de Cazanove house has a long-standing tradition, established by Charles Gabriel de Cazanove in 1811 in Avize, at the heart of the famed Côte de Blancs. During its early years, the house collaborated with Perrier-Jouet to optimize resources. Charles's son, also named Charles, led the house to its initial prosperity, catering to prestigious clients such as the Metternich family and French presidents. After enduring two World Wars and challenging economic periods, the house changed ownership for the first time in 1958. Since 2004, it has been in the hands of the Rapeneau family and is currently headquartered in Reims.
