WINE DESCRIPTION
Cesconi Moratel Rosso Vigneti delle Dolomiti is a distinguished offering from the Trentino-Alto Adige region. Crafted by Cesconi, this wine embodies the essence of its vineyard origins. The Lagrein grapes, grown on pergolas facing west, are nurtured in sedimentary limestone and compact sandstone soils, while Teroldego, Merlot, and Cabernet thrive in the Mediterranean climate of the Laghi valley. Handpicked and fermented in stainless steel tanks, the grapes undergo a meticulous process, including maceration lasting up to 20 days. Maturation in used barriques for 12 months imparts depth, followed by six months in bottles. This meticulous approach ensures a wine with a harmonious blend of Lagrein's boldness, Teroldego's finesse, and Merlot and Cabernet's complexity, culminating in a delightfully fresh and fruit-forward character.
