Caves Primavera Bairrada Reserva is a fruit forward approachable style of wine that is made from a blend of indigenous varieties. Baga, Touriga Nacional and Tinta Roriz are harvested, crushed and fermented in inert vats to preserve the freshness and fruit flavors. They spend a further short period in inert vessel to homogenise and harmonise the flavors before bottled and released.

Caves Primavera Bairrada Reserva offers aromas of ripe dark fruits, such as blackberry and plum, accompanied by hints of spice and violets. The palate is bold and medium-bodied, with rustic tannins that provide a gently grippy mouthfeel. Flavors of black cherry, blackcurrant, and dark chocolate dominate, complemented by subtle notes of pepper. The wine displays a good balance between fruitiness and acidity, however the finish is a little short and straight-forward.
