WINE DESCRIPTION
Cathedral Ridge McDuffee Vineyard Chardonnay is a single vineyard wine produced in the Columbia Gorge appellation located in Oregon. The vineyards are planted on volcanic soil, resulting in grapes that tend to give smoky mineral aromas. The wines undergo barrel fermentation and aging in American and French oak that have been previously used for aging other wines. These barrels impart a more subtle oak character as well as contributing a rich and creamy texture to the wine.

These ripe stone and tropical fruit flavors are accompanied by notes of smoky minerality and delicate oak spice notes of cinnamon and vanilla that add another dimension to the wine. The wine has a round texture with a full, creamy mid-palate, culminating in a dry, tropical fruit-tinged finale.
