Bordheauxd Red is a delightful blend of Echo Vineyard Cabernet, Reid Vineyard Merlot, and Reid Vineyard Syrah. This wine pays homage to the vibrant Board Head Community of Hood River and the Columbia Gorge, renowned for their perfect surfing and boarding conditions. Historically, kite boarders and windsurfers, who carried their boards on their heads, were dubbed "Boardheads" in jest. However, they embraced the term, making it a badge of honor. The name Bordheauxd Red is a playful nod to both Bordeaux wine and the spirited Board Head Community, encapsulating the area's unique culture and zest.
