Catania Crianza Ribera del Duero is a distinguished wine from Viñedos y Bodegas Gormaz, a renowned winery founded in 1972. Located in the Soria province of Spain, this region is known for its continental climate and high-altitude vineyards at 900 meters. The wine undergoes fermentation at a controlled temperature for several days. After malolactic fermentation, it is aged for 12-14 months in a mix of new and semi-new French and American oak barrels, and then rounded off with at least 8 months of bottle aging. The result is a well-rounded, rather bold and complex wine that captures the essence of its exceptional terroir.
