Castell'in Villa Poggio delle Rose is a distinguished Chianti Classico Riserva, crafted exclusively from a select Sangiovese clone planted in the Poggio delle Rose vineyard in 1990. The vineyard’s alluvial soil, enriched with pebbles, sand, and pockets of clay and limestone, imparts a unique character to the wine. Aged in new French oak barriques for over 18 months and further refined in bottle before release, this wine reveals a complex and polished profile. It is marked by ripe, plentiful tannins and concentrated intensity, embodying the refined elegance and depth characteristic of Castell'in Villa’s celebrated Riservas.
