WINE DESCRIPTION
Castell de Santueri Tinto is produced from the indigenous Callet and Manto Negro varieties, with a touch of Cabernet Sauvignon that adds structure and black fruit flavors. The vineyards are planted on the south east of the Island of Mallorca. This Spanish island experiences a moderate Mediterranean climate, cooled by the proximity to the sea. All the bunches are manual and optically sorted to ensure only the healthiest grapes are selected. The fermentation is temperature-controlled in large stainless steel tanks, before being matured in French & American oak barrels for around 6 months.

Castell de Santueri Tinto is known for its rich and robust character, showcasing a medium to deep ruby color.On the nose, aromas of ripe dark fruits, such as raspberries and plums, accompanied by hints of spice and earthiness. The palate is full-bodied and velvety, with well-integrated tannins and a balanced acidity. Flavors of plums, blackcurrants, and a touch of sweet spices and vanilla unfold on the palate, complemented by a lick of salinity, present on the long and satisfying finish.
