WINE DESCRIPTION
Casa Silva made only from the Carmenère variety that has become a signature grape for Chile. The grapes are harvested from the Colchagua Valley and crushed as to undergo a cold maceration prior to the fermentation to extract greater color and aromatics. The wine is fermented in stainless steel vats and aged in 25% French oak barrels for 5 months to produce a very expressive fruit-forward style supported by toasty oak flavors.
