The full-bodied red wine stood out as a fitting pairing for a hearty stew on a dark winter's evening, its substantial character complementing the bold notes of tomato and beef pasta, tomato with beef and onions, and aubergine parmagnana. The wine's concentrated red shade and light spice tones also lent themselves well to the dish.
