Rich, full-bodied garnet with a pink to clear rim, its nose is marred by the intense heat, but subtle nuances of cherry skins, cigar box, and black truffle emerge. The mouthfeel reveals faint fruit, dense red berry, with pronounced tannins, mushroom, and clove. Young, but with a promise of aging potential. Aged for 5 years, it will only improve.
