WINE DESCRIPTION

Caliza Azimuth is produced by Caliza Winery, located in Paso Robles, California. This wine is made from grapes grown in the Willow Creek subregion of Paso Robles, where the sun-drenched climate results in a high degree of ripeness in the grapes. Made by blending Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvedre this wine pays homage to the famous French wines of Chateauneuf-du-Pape whilst still being distinctly California in character with its bold, fruity style. A must for any fans of Rhone-style wines.

This Caliza Azimuth is a wine for those who enjoy opulence.The color has an inky depth. The nose is bursting with intense ripe blueberry fruit with undertones of meat and dried herbs. Its palate is full, with enriching alcohol that is slightly warming whilst the tannins are velvety in nature. The finish is long and tinged with notes of coffee. Drink now or over the next 10 years.
