The Mancini family's winemaking history began in the late 19th century with the construction of their first cellar in San Polo and the planting of vineyards in Podere della Filandra. They later acquired properties in Campriano and Muciafora. Since 1926, the winery has been dedicated to producing Chianti DOC exclusively in cement tanks. In the 1970s, Amadio Mancini, with the support of his wife Patrizia, took over the winery and modernized vineyard and production techniques, leading to significant growth with new olive groves and vineyard renewal. In 2002, the winery received organic certification and started building a larger, more functional cellar in Campriano. Today, Amadio's daughters Anastasia, Alessia, and Roberta manage the family winery, continuing their father's legacy with a commitment to tradition and sustainability.
