Brotherhood Cabernet Sauvignon is a bold, fruity, red wine produced by Brotherhood Winery, one of the oldest wineries in the United States. The grapes are sourced from the North Fork of Long Island located in New York State. This viticultural area is renowned for producing Bordeaux varieties of surprising intensity. Once the grapes are harvested, they are crushed and undergo a controlled, warm fermentation on skins to obtain a deeply colored and intensely flavored wine. It is aged in French and American oak barrels for a minimum of one year prior to its release.
NOTES FROM VINOVOSS SOMMELIER
The Brotherhood Cabernet Sauvignon stains the glass with a deep ruby hue.The nose offers aromas of ripe dark fruit like blackcurrant, blackberry and plum alongside notes of leather, cedar and a delicate leafiness. On the palate, the wine is velvety with flavors of dark berries, smoky oak, and anise. The finish is persistent with a pleasant balance of tannins and acidity that support the dark fruit flavors.
