WINE DESCRIPTION
Brian Carter Cellars Corrida is a Spanish style red blend from the Columbia Valley appellation in Washington State. The wine is predominantly composed of Tempranillo, with the remainder of the blend made up of Graciano, Garnacha, Cabernet Sauvignon and Monastrell. The wine is matured for around 22 months in a mixture of French and American oak that helps round out the mouthfeel, soften the tannins and contributes notes of vanilla, cinnamon and clove.

Brian Carter Cellars Corrida reveals a medium to deep ruby hue.The nose is immediately expressive on pouring, with enticing aromas of ripe blackberries, dark cherries, and cassis, complemented by hints of cedar, tobacco, and vanilla. The palate is rich and full-bodied, with velvety tannins and a well-integrated structure. Flavors of blackcurrant, plum, and black cherry dominate, accompanied by notes of baking spices and a touch of leather. The finish is long, culminating on layers of dark almost jammy black fruit and sweet spices.
