WINE DESCRIPTION

Bouchard Père & Fils Chambertin Grand Cru is produced by one of the largest landowners in the Côte d’Or, with a comprehensive mosaic of vineyards in a wide variety of prestigious appellations; one could argue that this Grand Cru is the jewel in the crown. Located in the village of Gevrey-Chambertin to which it gave its name, Chambertin, nicknamed the King of Burgundy, is often considered the greatest of all red Burgundies for its complexity, power and intensity.

On the palate, it delivers a sensual and elegant experience with assertive, silky tannins that provide structure alongside the fine core of firm acidity. Flavors of red berries continue to shine through, complemented by nuances of spices, forest floor, and a touch of oak. The finish is incredibly persistent and shows crystalline flavor definition.
