This distinguished blend from Boschkloof Estate comprises Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, sourced from 28-year-old vines rooted in decomposed granite and ironstone soils. The estate adheres to organic viticulture practices, enhancing the natural quality of the grapes. Fermentation involves both native and house-cultured yeasts in stainless steel tanks, with a skin contact period of 12 days to extract optimal flavor and color. The wine matures gracefully for 12 months in seasoned 225L French oak barriques, with 20% being second-year wood, to allow the character of the wine to develop while maintaining the integrity of the fruit.
