WINE DESCRIPTION
Bodega Norton Barrel Select is a mono-varietal Cabernet Sauvignon produced by Bodega Norton. The grapes are sourced from vineyards in the Mendoza appellation, considered the viticultural hub of Argentina. The wine is aged in a combination of French oak barrels and concrete vats for a period of around 3 months to add a spicy character without dominating the rich dark fruits. The style of the wine is full-bodied and bold, which pairs perfectly with steaks and other red meats.

The Bodega Norton Barrel Select Cabernet Sauvignon is a bold, full-bodied red wine with a deep ruby color.The nose is immediately open and expressive with aromas of ripe blackberry and cassis with subtle notes of vanilla and oak. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied with a round texture. It offers a balanced and jammy flavor profile offset by soft tannins and fresh acidity. The finish is simple, fruit-focussed and moderate in length culminating in a burst of acidity and sweet blackcurrants.

Mendoza is the largest wine-producing region in Argentina, located in the foothills of the Andes Mountains. It is known for its high-altitude vineyards, producing some of the country's most renowned wines.
