Biserno Campo di Sasso Insoglio del Cinghiale is a Tuscan red wine produced by Tenuta di Biserno. The wine is made from a blend of Cabernet Franc, Syrah, Merlot, and Petit Verdot grapes grown in the Livorno hills of Tuscany. The vineyard is planted on soils rich in clay and schist, which give the wine its unique character. The grapes are hand-harvested and fermented in stainless steel tanks before being aged in French oak barrels for 12 months. The resulting wine is full-bodied and rich, with notes of black cherry, plum, and spice. The wine is elegant and complex, with a long, smooth finish.
NOTES FROM VINOVOSS SOMMELIER
This Tuscan blend brings together the best of Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon. The nose is intense and complex with aromas of ripe cherries, dark berries and spices. On the palate, it is full-bodied and well-structured, with a velvety texture and flavors of ripe red fruits, tobacco, and a hint of black pepper. It has good acidity and a long, lingering finish. This wine is well-balanced and enjoyable, perfect for pairing with steak or game.
