This wine combines grapes from the Bertinga, Adine, and Vertine vineyards. After 12 months of aging in steel and cement, followed by an additional 12 months in the bottle, the Bertinga Sassi Chiusi Toscana IGT, sometimes with a brief Merlot aging in barriques, exhibits similarities to a Chianti Classico but maintains its unique terroir character.
