Berger's Lössterrassen is made from Austria's flagship grape Grüner Veltliner, known for its zesty acidity and aromas of radishes, pea shoots, and white pepper spice. Lössterrassen is named after the terraces dug into the loess soils in the Kremstal region. These vineyards are farmed sustainably, without herbicides, pesticides or fungicides. After hand harvesting the grapes, they are pressed and undergo a slow fermentation in stainless steel at cool temperatures to best express the variety and site.
