WINE DESCRIPTION
This 100% Aglianico wine originates from Montemiletto, a vineyard nestled at 500-600 meters above sea level with south-west exposure. The 22-year-old vines, planted at a density of 5000-6000 per hectare in clayey-calcareous soil, yield 70 quintals per hectare. Hand-harvested in early October into small 14 kg crates, the grapes undergo gentle crushing, destemming, and maceration with daily pumping over. Fermented in stainless steel, the wine matures in steel tanks before refinement in the bottle for 2-3 months. The result is a vibrant expression of Aglianico, showcasing its signature structure and depth with freshness and finesse.
