WINE DESCRIPTION
This Bellini Chianti hails from the historic Chianti Classico appellation in Tuscany, Italy. The wine is made from a majority of Sangiovese, which is supported by a touch of Merlot which helps flesh out the mid-palate and provides roundness and plummy fruit to the wine. Harvest is done entirely by hand, before the grapes are crushed and temperature-controlled alcoholic fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks. Maturation last around 12 months in large French oak barrels, followed by a further 12 months in concrete tanks prior to bottling.

Bellini Chianti Classico has a pale ruby appearance typical of thin-skinned Sangiovese wines.The nose offers enticing aromas of tart red fruits, such as cherries and raspberries, accompanied by hints of potting soil and dried herbs. The palate is well-balanced, with a medium body and firm tannins that lends plenty of structure and grip. Its lively acidity provides freshness, complementing the tart red fruit and savory profile, which carries on the persistent finish.
