Behrens Family Winery, owned by Les Behrens and Lisa Drinkward, is a true boutique winery located atop Spring Mountain in Napa Valley. Since 1993, they've produced small lots of six to seven wines each year under the Behrens & Hitchcock label. Their winemaking is a low-tech labor of love, with grapes crushed into one-ton T-bins, hand-punched, gently transferred to barrels, and bottled unfined and unfiltered. Les and Lisa's hands during harvest reflect their dedication to truly handcrafted wines. They source from small, unique, low-yielding vineyard sites, working with growers who share their obsession with quality. Their philosophy is to let the vineyards shine and allow the wines to speak for themselves.
