WINE DESCRIPTION
Barone di Serramarrocco Il Grillo del Barone is a dry, mineral, white wine made entirely from the local Grillo variety. The vineyards are located on the volcanic island of Sicily planted on high elevation slopes, which helps the grapes to retain freshness and delicacy of flavor. The grapes are typically hand-harvested and pressed to stainless steel temperature-controlled vats. The fermentation takes place at moderate temperatures to retain vibrancy of fruit. Finally, the wine spends around 3 months in bottle prior to its release to ensure it is ready to be enjoyed.

Upon tasting, the palate bursts of ripe citrus fruits, complemented by almonds and saline flavors that are present on the relatively brief, albeit pleasant finish.
