WINE DESCRIPTION
Barnard Griffin Rosé of Sangiovese is a highly refreshing rosé produced from Sangiovese grown in the Columbia Valley appellation of Washington State. The vineyard features sandy loam soils and a warm, dry climate, which allows the Sangiovese grapes to develop their unique flavors. The grapes are harvested early to retain freshness and delicacy of aroma. The grapes have a short skin contact and are fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats before being pressed off and matured in inert vessel prior to bottling.

This Barnard Griffin Rosé of Sangiovese shimmers in the glass with a light pink hue.The nose is expressive and immediately approachable with fresh and tart aromas of strawberry, plum and cherry with an underlying note of lightly stewed tea. On the palate, it is light, vibrant and incisive, with racy acidity that provides mouthwatering freshness. The bright flavors of tart cranberry, raspberry and strawberry carry on the dry, clean finish.
