WINE DESCRIPTION
Barker's Marque The Loop Sauvignon Blanc is a classic pungent varietal expression of Sauvignon Blanc from the Marlborough region, located on New Zealand's South Island. This grapes are sourced from the Waverley Vineyard which is situated near the sea in the cooler Awatere Valley. The vinification occurs at cool temperatures in predominantly stainless steel vats to create an intensely aromatic wine, whilst a small proportion is fermented in neutral oak barrels at ambient temperatures to give roundness and texture. Both components are blended together to create a well-rounded, easy-drinking and highly expressive Sauvignon Blanc, designed to be enjoyed in its youth.
