WINE DESCRIPTION

Barahonda Campo Arriba is a red wine that showcases the richness of Southern Spanish wines. Hailing from the renowned appellation of Yecla, this wine is crafted from primarily Monastrell grapes grown in sun-drenched vineyards. The mature vines, older than 60 years, produce limited yields adding to the concentrated nature of the flavors. At the same time the high altitude position adds freshness, resulting in a balanced wine. With a tocuh of complexity from a short period in small, French oak, this is a great introduction to the more obscure Monastrell grape, which is also known as Mourvedre in neighboring France.
