WINE DESCRIPTION
Banfi Florus Moscadello di Montalcino Late Harvest is a historical "pearl" of Montalcino, crafted with precision by Banfi. This exquisite dessert wine, made from 100% Moscato, locally called Moscadello grapes, offers a perfect balance of aromatic expression and acidity. The vineyards, set in predominantly clayey and shallow soils with pebbles, are trellised using a spurred cordon system and have a vine density of 4200 vines per hectare with a low yield of 30 quintals per hectare. The grapes undergo natural drying on the vine, followed by fermentation in temperature-controlled French oak barriques at 16°C and aging for 7 months in the same type of barrels. The result is a richly aromatic wine with a luscious, balanced palate, epitomizing the elegance and heritage of Montalcino winemaking.

These fragrances create an inviting and aromatic experience that prepares the palate for the indulgence to come.
Upon tasting, the Banfi Florus Moscadello di Montalcino Late Harvest reveals a rich and velvety texture, with flavors of honeyed stone fruits, such as peaches and nectarines. The sweetness is well-balanced, with a touch of acidity that adds freshness and prevents the wine from becoming cloying.
