The Curator wines, representing his expertise, emerge from a diverse library of wine parcels. Grown mostly on bushvines in granite and slate soils, these grapes come from four different farmers. Vinification is straightforward and true to Badenhorst's style – handpicked grapes, overnight chilling, whole bunch pressing, and fermentation in concrete tanks with minimal extraction. After six months, the wine, expressing its fruit vibrancy, is bottled unfined, lightly filtered, and ready to delight with its reasonable pricing and remarkable quality.
