WINE DESCRIPTION
This Babich Single Vineyard is an Organic Sauvignon Blanc produced in the Marlborough region of New Zealand. This sunny yet cool climate region has the ideal climate for Sauvignon Blanc allowing the grapes to retain acidity whilst achieving high aromatic intensity. Fruit from their certified organic Headwaters Vineyard was harvested and quickly pressed, clarified and fermented. Partial malolactic fermentation occurred, a process used to softened the acidity and add textural complexity.

This Babich Single Vineyard Organic Sauvignon Blanc has a pale almost water-white appearance with a green-tinged rim.The nose displays aromas of ripe citrus including lemon peel and grapefruit alongside tropical notes of guava and passionfruit. These fruit flavors are complemented by a refreshing herbaceous edge reminiscent of freshly cut grass and asparagus. On the palate, it is bright and zesty with rounded acidity and a creamy mid-palate leading to a lingering finish.
