The Attems Cicinis D.O.C. Collio Sauvignon Blanc is crafted from grapes grown on the terraced hills of Cicinis in Puglia's Collio Goriziano region. The year began with a rainy January, transitioning to a warm summer that facilitated optimal ripening. Handpicked at peak maturity, the grapes undergo careful vinification, including pressing, static decanting, and fermentation in egg-shaped cement tanks and barriques. The wine is aged on the lees for seven months without malolactic fermentation, enhancing its richness. This Sauvignon Blanc exhibits a vibrant straw-yellow color and a complex bouquet of honeysuckle, bergamot, and peach, with a zesty finish.
