WINE DESCRIPTION
Armenia Wine Tariri Dry Red is a dry, medium bodied, lightly oaked, red wine with angular tannins and balanced acidity for drinking over the medium term. The wine comes from the Aragatsotn region of Armenia. The focus of this wine is upon the native Areni Noir gape which for the majority of the blend. Equal parts of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvigon are used to round out the wine, giving it additional richness. All the grapes are grown using organic methods. The wine is lightly oak, having been matured in older vessels. Expect a robust wine with angilar tannins and notes of blackberries, roasted red pepper and black pepper spice. The chance to try a wine from the cradle of grapegrowing makes this a must for people who love the history of wine and winemaking.

On the nose, expect to be greeted by enticing aromas of ripe black fruits, such as blackberries and cherries along with notes of roasted red pepper and peppercorn spice.The palate is generous with the weight of the wine well balanced by the angular tannins and lean acidity. The finish is moderate in length with a spicy complexity. Try this with lamb chops and fried herb polenta.
