WINE DESCRIPTION
Ariousios Afstiros (αυστηρός) is a unique blend of the rare black-skinned varieties Chiotiko Krassero & Agiannitis grown in the Aegean Islands, south of the Greek mainland. The grapes are typically harvested separately to ensure they both achieve peak flavor maturity. This wine hails fermented and aged for around 18 months in used oak barrels to round out the texture and ensure the wine is ready to be consumed on release. A wine of character and depth, it pairs beautifully with roasted meats, game dishes, or aged cheeses.
