WINE DESCRIPTION
Arganza Premium Lagar de Robla comes from the Bierzo region, in the Northwest of Spain. The wine is made from the Mencia variety that tends to produce light, crunchy, red-fruited wines. Grapes are hand harvested from a combination of estate vineyards and some long-term growers. Each plot is harvested separately to ensure grapes are picked at the ideal time. Fermentation takes place in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks, followed by a period of around 18 months of maturation in American oak barrels prior to release.

Arganza Premium Lagar de Robla has a pale to medium ruby hue.On the nose, enticing aromas of crunchy red fruits, such as cherries and red plums, accompanied by subtle hints of vanilla and spices. The palate largely reflects the aromas detected on the nose, with layers of red fruit, oak spice and an intriguing hint of lavender. The wine has a lean texture with a medium body and chalky tannins that frame the fruit flavors. The acidity provides a refreshing burst that lifts the palate and carries the medium length finish.
