WINE DESCRIPTION
Ardhuy Corton Clos du Roi Grand Cru is an exceptional wine hailing from the most highly regarded site of the Corton Grand Cru. After hand harvesting, the grapes are processed at the winery and undergo an alcoholic fermentation at warmer temperatures with the aim of extracting a higher level of tannin and fruit concentration that is required to build this age-worthy wine. The wine is subsequently aged in a proportion of new french oak barrels to enhance the complexity and round out the tannins to create a silky mouthfeel.
