WINE DESCRIPTION
Apaltagua Malbec Reserva is produced in the Maule Valley, located in Chile's Central Valley. The Huaquen vineyards that supply the grapes for this wine are characterized by being set in the foothills of the coastal mountain range, which provides excellent sun
exposure ideal for producing perfectly ripe grapes. After harvesting, the bunches are de-stemmed and put into stainless steel tanks, before undergoing the fermentation. Finally, the wine is aged for around 5-6 months in French barrels and stainless steel tanks before bottling.

Apaltagua Malbec Reserva displays a deep purple color with a magenta rim and moderate staining of the tears.On the nose, you will find aromas of ripe blackberries, plums, blueberries and a hint of sweet baking spices. The palate is round and medium to full-bodied, with supple tannins and well-balanced acidity. This Malbec offers simple ripe fruit flavors, including blueberries, blackberries, and a touch of spice. The finish is modest in length, leaving an impression of dark fruits and a subtle floral lift reminiscent of violets.
