The Antinori Tenuta Guado al Tasso Cont'Ugo Bolgheri Superiore is a stunning Super Tuscan Merlot from the celebrated Bolgheri appellation. The vineyards, which are situated between 45 and 60 meters above sea level on silty-clayey soils of primarily alluvial origin, give the Cont'Ugo great depth and complexity while retaining the fragrance and exuberance of the fruit that is characteristic of Merlot. Flavors of ripe cherry, cassis and blackberry mingle with hints of dried herbs and oak.
