WINE DESCRIPTION
Crafted in Hawke's Bay region of New Zealand from a single vineyard, this wine is made from several Bordeaux varieties, which is not surprising, as Hawke's Bay is famous for providing excellent conditions for these grapes and producing well-known New Zealand red blends. The winemaking process involves careful selection and gentle handling of the grapes. The fermentation and further maturation in oak (for 12 months) takes part separately for separate blocks, and only after the maturation the final blending is completed. The Navigator is known for its elegant, but bold style, offering a harmonious balance of fruit, acidity, and tannins.
